- The answer is always Safety First. In a recent safety meetings with our drivers, CEO Michael Tan strongly emphasised this principle.
PROACTIVITY
- Safety is inherently proactive. We are not only prepared to address safety issues as they arise but also take extensive measures to prevent them from occurring.
- Pre-trip inspections exemplify proactive safety. Before each route, our drivers meticulously check their equipment to ensure road safety. This allows us to address potential safety concerns before they pose a threat.
- We also engage in ongoing employee training to proactively maintain safety standards. Monthly, our drivers meet with upper management to discuss safety, review past incidents, and celebrate safety successes, fostering continuous internal dialogue about safety.
ACCOUNTABILITY
- We have multiple accountability measures to ensure all team members adhere to our safety protocols. This includes routine alcohol and drug screenings for drivers. Additionally, our trucks are equipped with real-time GPS tracking, enabling us to monitor if a driver is speeding, violating traffic regulations, or being unsafe in any manner.
- Fortunately, such instances are rare due to our exceptional drivers. We regularly recognize “Safety Superstars” for their outstanding commitment to safety on the job.

In an era where physical meetings are not always feasible, we conduct hybrid town halls and produce extensive video content to ensure everyone stays informed. These meetings, though time consuming, are seen as vital investments in our people.
